What we hold about you
Your name, role, company, business email address, and the public article or notice that led us to you. Nothing else.
Where it comes from
Public press, company registries (for example Companies House and The Gazette in the UK), court and insolvency notices, company websites, and business-contact data providers.
Why, and on what basis
To make one business proposal: buying the records of a company you founded, ran, or are appointed over. For contacts in the UK and the EU, our basis is legitimate interest (a one-off business-to-business proposal, limited to three mails, with an opt-out in every one). We do not profile you and we make no automated decision about you.
How long
Twelve months after our last mail, then deleted. If you opt out, your address stays on a suppression list indefinitely so that we do not write again.
Who else sees it
Our email service provider (Smartlead), our hosting provider (Hetzner, Germany and Finland), and a language-model provider that reads public articles to sort them, never your correspondence. No one else, and never for their own purposes.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object at any time: reply "stop" to any mail or write to hello@icemint.io. We answer within 30 days. UK and EU residents can also complain to their data protection authority; California residents have the rights set out in the CCPA and we do not sell personal information.
Records we buy
Personal data inside purchased records is handled under a separate written procedure described on the front page; sellers' contracts set out the exclusions and the deletion confirmation.
